Amanda Lisman has been a working actor for 20 years. She is a graduate of the University of Victoria (BA Anthropology), the University of Alberta (BFA Acting), The Citadel/Banff Theatre Program and the Stratford Festival’s Birmingham Conservatory. 

Splitting her time between the west coast and Toronto, Amanda’s credits include Suits, iZombie, Reign, Supernatural, Psych, Private Eyes, a number of independent projects, and Hallmark movies such as A Veteran’s Christmas and You, Me, and the Christmas Trees.

Amanda’s extensive theatre credits include three seasons at the Stratford Festival (Titus AndronicusCyrano de Bergerac, Macbeth, Grapes of Wrath, Zastrozzi, The Tempest), Alberta Theatre Projects (Betty Mitchell Award for Venus in Fur), Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre (Winnipeg Theatre Award Nomination for 23.5 Hours), The Segal Centre (Montreal English Theatre Nomination for Noises Off), and many more roles with Theatre Aquarius, The Arts Club, The Citadel, Blue Bridge Repertory, Atomic Vaudeville and The Belfry.

Amanda is an educator, teaching courses in acting for the camera and for the stage, voice, public speaking, and Shakespeare for various schools including the University of Victoria, the Victoria Academy of Dramatic Arts, and The Stratford Festival’s Teaching Shakespeare Program.  She is passionate about coaching, diving into the text, and guiding performers to find their authentic voice.
